Cissus quadrangularis / Pirandai / “Adamant creeper”

Pirandai (Cissus quadrangularis ) is a perennial plant of the grape family. It is also known as Veldt Grape, Adamant Creeper, Asthisamharaka and Hadjod. 

Pirandai is traditionally used in treatment of gastric ulcer, gastritis, constipation, worm infestation, anorexia, dyspepsia, colic, flatulence, bone fracture healing, obesity, eye diseases, piles and anaemia.
